« Spent Thanksgiving at Bankhead hideaway cabin for three days. The cabin was great they provided everything you could need and then some. Plenty of fire pit options with two on property, hot tub plenty of open space for a morning walk or to let the pups play in. Very quiet the host was great left us two gift of two bottles of wine and a s’more’s kit. »

« We had a wonderful time and plan to make it 'A Family Tradition' for our family. The water views are fabulous with different water fowl to enjoy daily. Our hostess Kellie had decorated the already gorgeous cabin for the Holidays and there are too many amenities to mention. It was a cold spell during our stay so we had a cozy fire in beautiful fireplace. I can only imagine the fun to had on the water or fishing during the warm months. Check it out for yourself. »

« The gated location with plenty of parking was perfect for trucks and boats. With the security of the gate and the outside camera allowed us to keep graphs hooked up and tackle laying out. Highly recommended for Wilson lake or pick wick. »

« We stayed a couple of nights . The kitchen is well stocked and the house was very comfortable .They had a great grill and chopped wood for the fire ring . We enjoyed the games and fishing from the dock . The pool and nature trail were very nice also. Only regret was only getting to stay 2 nights . My grand daughter said she wanted to live there forever lol . We also drove to Dismals Canyon and Rattlesnake Saloon . Grocery store was very close by »

« What a unique stay! I love this cabin, it's clean and fresh and new. It has a sweet smell of cedar when you enter and a lovely view of a deck and a common outdoor fireplace out back with the river running behind it. The space is well thought out with kids upstairs on a cedar bunk loft-area overlooking the living space below. The stairs to the loft are steep, mind you, but definitely fits the cabin vibes. « Property manager was was friendly and was available for anything we needed or wanted. Honest the pictures on VRBO do not even come close to showing the beauty of the property and cabin. The cabin was fully furnished, clean and welcoming. We will definitely going back again. »

« Cabin is more of a hunting/horse riding cabin. Very clean and in a quiet, beautiful, secluded location. The A/C went out during our stay, but the owner was very prompt in attempting to repair. This happened on a Sunday, so no technician was available. The owner moved our party to another, comparable location and did everything to make our stay memorable. Would definitely stay again. Feels like home. »
