« It was a beautiful property and very, very clean. I appreciated the incidentals provided, like shampoo, paper plates and cutlery, spices, and coffee. The bedrooms were nice, and the beds were comfortable. Although we only had 6 adults, there was another bedroom for two more. There was plenty of room to move around and hang out. « The cabin was very clean, and I paid for some enhancements, which were delivered as promised. It’s secluded enough from the city, but not too far of a drive if you want to go into town. The only thing I would change is the bed; I wish it were bigger. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place. We pulled a bass boat with us, and it was manageable, but if you have a pontoon or a larger boat, you might struggle a bit. »

« Had a great, but too brief of a stay, at Linda and Jon's cabin. Very comfortable. Just wish the vegetable garden was ready for harvest. While the cabin appears isolated at first glance, it is actually very convenient to Kroger, restaurants, etc. Would definitely stay there again, if passing through Carbondale. »

« We loved this lake house that has a cottage feel. So cozy and decorated so cute! Loved that all 3 bedrooms have a king size bed! And the daybed and lower level with a little couch amd tv area work perfectly for kiddos! The view was amazing!!! Rented a boat and were able to dock it right up to the house each evening. The lake is clean and so calm. Great boating experience too! Close to Marion, Carbondale, and Shawnee National Forest. Also so close to the Shawnee wine trail. Lots to do! »
