« Nice and beautiful house. The way that we looked. Montana style. Unfortunately the kitchen was dirty and for me this area and bathrooms are the most importantly rooms to be cleaned. The coffee machine was disgusted. Bathroom was ok, just the mirror and tub was dirty. There was garbage left outside around the fire place and food on the chair outside ( sun rom area). To us the mattress are too soft and we didn’t sleep well till last night when we try the other bedroom which has a better mattress....

« It's a beautiful house, in a pleasant and quiet location, near the mountains.Communication with the owner, Rosanna, via email, text, or phone was immediate and precise.We recommend the house . Great place to stay. »

« Check in and out was smooth. Home and property was beautiful and well maintained. My boys enjoyed using the kayak and fishing in the lake. Communication with host was extremely easy. Very enjoyable stay! »

« Absolutely enchanting property!Every detail of this property was perfect! The home itself was beautiful and wonderfully interesting. The house was clean and comfortable, and anything that we could anticipate was laid out in the guest binder. The surrounding property was also serene. There was plenty of local wildlife to see from the decks and patio, not to mention the woods beyond. Gorgeous enough to keep two teenagers engaged and happy! It made for a perfect escape. « The trout river house is great! Has everything you need to have a great weekend and relax. There’s lots to do around the area but we didn’t feel the need to explore much since we were so comfy at the house. Justin was great to work with through the whole process! »

« Absolutely beautiful little retreat, so quiet and peaceful, massage chair was amazing... bed was absolutely most comfortable bed i have ever slept on.. we were just looking for a break away from the world... and this was it. »

« What a Magnificently restored farmhouse! No detail left undone! We enjoyed the pond, hot tub, fire pit, patio, a trip into Callicoon for the farmers market and quaint shops ... let's just say we enjoyed it all! We will defiantly be back! »

« we have stayed at this location before and I didnt even remember. When we arrived there was a problem with the door code and there was no signal to contact Doug. Finally had a family member contacted him through texting and got the proper code. Other than that everything was great! House was so clean and had everything we needed. Great location for peace and quiet and a chance to disconnect. »

« This was our second stay at Lago house and couldn’t be happier. Plenty of room for everyone, and has everything you need for a week floating and fishing in the lake. Already planning a return trip next summer. »
