« The property was equipped with all needs. Although we thought the house was perfect The several mile road was red dirt and because it rained my car had red clay in wheel wells and my car was a mess. Chunks of red dirt fell out each time I took to car wash. I believe description said gravel road; and this was not gravel. I imagine in dry summer months the road wouldn’t be an issue. »

« Perfect place just outside of town on a quiet street. The views of the hills all around you from the kitchen and living room are amazing. The home is within a hour from Custer state park, Mt Rushmore, Crazy horse, cave tours and Deadwood. The house was clean and very accommodating. Only suggestion we have are more towels for bigger families, a can opener for the kitchen and better checking out instructions. We loved our time at the rental. »

« We had the best time on our vacation. We were gone most of the day, but our kids had a blast at the house whenever we were there. The home was stocked with everything you could need, and the property is beautiful! We were all so sad to leave. »

The owners, Mandy and Jane, were so accommodating, and even gave us marshmallows and new marshmallow sticks to have for when we had a fire. They provided so many amenities that came in so handy. « This is a great place to stay. Lots of room for many people. Close to Rochford, mountain meadows and Hill City. We fished, ATV’d, Biked, hot tub’d and so much more. We can’t wait to come back and see the new road. »

« Lovely home in a great location! We had a great time staying at Evergreen Lodge with our extended family. There was plenty of room inside & out for the kids (8 of them!) to play. Everything is as described and pictured in the listing. The location was perfect for driving to all the sites and close to Custer for getting take-out and groceries. The gas grill and firepit were clean and in good working order. There is a second refrigerator in the detached garage which was very useful but it would be...

« We had no idea where to stay and when I came across pictures of this lodge I knew this was it. We arrived and we were greeted by Deb as we were checking the place out before we went to look for our room. Very sweet lady! It was soooo relaxing to come back at night after our adventures to relax on the front porch! Don’t hesitate book this lodge now!! We will definitely be back! »

« We celebrated our 50th anniversary with our family at this property. There were 17 of us and had plenty of room inside and a place to play games outside! Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and petting the horses close to the back yard! It was a quiet and spacious area! »

« Great place to stay! A lot of room for a large group. We had a party of 18 and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in. Large kitchen and dinning area accommodate for family gatherings. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms! Several outdoor grills and picnic tables. The host is great and accommodates with requests instantly! We had a blast! Thank you! »

« This spot had everything to make my stay comfortable and welcoming. It is the perfect location to explore the area and the room and home was both luxurious and homey feeling all at the same time.
