« Great location. Clean, private, and very close to the Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls. Convenient to Alamosa. Barb is a great host. »

« We stayed for three nights with our two kids, 4 and 6 y/o. It's a great house, beautifully decorated. I LOVE all of the plants. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, coffee grinder etc. The outdoor spaces are nice as well, although I'll admit that there were sooo many mosquitoes/bugs all day that we really couldn't use it. No AC, but it worked fine as long as we closed windows in the morning and opened them as soon as we could in the evening. Fans in the windows helped as well....

« The place was very clean and well stocked. We felt right at home and had a very comfortable stay. The location is close to downtown and all other area attractions. The bed was comfortable. I would recommend a clock or alarm in the bedroom but I would say this is one of the better places we have stayed and we travel a lot. « This property is a gem! From the spices, cookware, dishes, and towels in the kitchen, to the extra pillows, blankets, cots, and air mattresses for the bedrooms, to the boards and sleds for fun at the Dunes, everything was clean and well-stocked. It's a very private spot, so our family was able to just enjoy the getaway and focus on each other without the distraction of needing or worrying about the property. « I came to visit hoping to stay in a nice quiet area with a view of the mountains. I was instead treated to a gorgeous and carefully cared for property with beautiful flowers and a gorgeous view. The area was extremely clean, check in took less than 5 minutes, the property owner was extremely welcoming and available. I would not trade this vacation for ANYTHING. When a friend who had initially planned on staying else where's plans had to change, she was able to stay with me with no issues and...

"Il n’y a pas un grand choix d’hôtels dans la zone néanmoins cela n’est pas une raison pour offrir un si faible niveau de prestation. La chambre était dans l’ensemble très sale, l’aspirateur avait été passé seulement en plein milieu de la pièce. L’état général des équipements était mauvais (ancien et abîmé), notamment la fenêtre de la chambre qui était cassée et ne se fermait pas complètement… la salle de bain était à l’image du reste de la chambre, le tuyau d’évacuation de l’eau de la baignoire était partiellement bouché. Cet hôtel aura été le premier de mon roadtrip, définitivement le moins bon et paradoxalement l’un des plus cher. Je ne recommande pas."
