« The views were amazing from every level and the whole scenery was nothing short of spectacular.This camp was not only wonderful for me to rest, study, and soak in the lake and woods, but it also had all the gear for serious kayaking adventures if I wanted to.The stay was deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. Very peaceful too…the kind of peace that lingers long after leaving.I would definitely stay again.Thank you Shawn for providing this amazing lake house. »

« My partner and I desperately needed a full reset getaway and this couldn't have fit the bill more. We also had our dog with us. This was (as described and intended) isolated and quiet and tranquil. The house is also incredibly designed on the interior. At first blush, you could look past it, but every inch of this home is designed with intention and mindfulness to the vibe: oceanside, secluded, rustic, authentic. It's awesome. Highly recommend. »

« Great spot on the river. The canoe was easy to put in even though the river was super low during our stay. Fast internet, we could stream movies with no problem. The bed we stayed in was comfortable and the shower has plenty of hot water. The cabin is so dark at night, you can’t see your hand in front of your own face so you will sleep like a champion! »

I would like to add recommendations without sounding rude… fix locks on front door, it doesn’t seem like it closes tight enough and deadbolt doesn’t work. Bedroom with queen bed door doesn’t even latch, therefore can’t be locked. The other bedroom the lock is on the outside. »

« Moon Tide Cottage, located in a gorgeous tidal cove, is a special and peaceful sanctuary. We had a wonderful stay at this adorable house beside the sea in Harpswell. The deck above the water is incredible, the views fantastic, and the breeze and sun/shade on the deck were perfect. There were no mosquitos, flies or bugs when sitting on the deck. The number of birds that we saw in the cove as the tide went in and out were amazing! Eagles across the water, and egrets, herons, cormorants, ducks...

« Our first impression was ok but glad we brought our own sheets, towels, etc. Microwave tripped the breaker in the electric panel with every use (very annoying). The TV gave us very few stations to watch on a very small screen. No DVD player as listed. Shower was left very dirty with used leftover bar of soap. The water pressure was very low in the sink and shower. The kitchen and bathroom sink drained very slowly. Bedspread was old and stained as was the coach which was covered with a sheet....
