« No easy lake access or fishing like shown in the pictures. The house was 80 degrees even though the thermostat was set to 68. The house was not as clean as I expected. The best thing about it was the comfortable beds. It's right next to a farm with very loud animals and they are free range. So you will get visitors and hear them all the time. Would not stay here again for that price »

« My husband and I booked an anniversary trip here and truly enjoyed every day. If you’re looking to unplug and enjoy nature, this is a good place to do it. The place was great. Everything was wonderful. The buttons on the hot tub were questionable. lol The only button we got to work was the temperature buttons. But it could have been us not knowing how to use it. Otherwise, everything was amazing & just what was needed to relax and enjoy some much needed quality time together. »

« The proximity to Rock Island State Park (15min) and the ping pong table were great. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and communication fell short. There was significant dust and black dog hair inside the home and on sheets. The patio areas needed to be prepped for use (covers removed, deep clean). The biggest issue was the third bedroom (renovated garage adjacent to 3 other garages) was totally unusable due to a strong chemical odor - potentially gasoline/diesel/yard chemicals. This is a...

« Spent the weekend in this chalet and really enjoyed ourselves. They are clean, quiet, and very private. The owner was also very responsive to emails. We had a great trip and would highly recommend. »
