« My husband grew up in Joplin and has a large number of family there. It was so nice to be able to stay in a Vrbo instead of a hotel. We were visiting for his mother's 100th birthday and needed a three bedroom. This home was perfect. There were plenty of towels, washer, dryer, (very necessary with a three-year-old), lots of seating in the common areas, large kitchen and dining room and large bathrooms. The backyard is huge with a deck. »

« Outside trash was overflowing. Floors could use a good cleaning. And, the breakers in the kitchen tripped more than once, and we had to wait for some to come reset them because they were locked in the garage. Beds were not comfy. Did not appear to be a king sized one in the house, but not like i measured them to see. All that being said, we didn't let it spoil our weekend. We cooked, ate too much, laughed and played games. « We liked our stay well enough because of the charm and unusualness of the property but as many others have commented, the space is really dirty. The sinks, toilet, etc were clean but when actually sitting on the loo, the view is pretty dismal. It needs deep cleaned. One aspect we really enjoyed was walking through the neighborhood and reading the history plaques located in the front yards of the large, historic homes. If you get headaches from synthetic scents, be aware of how many candles are...
