« Our stay at the four bedroom log cabin was wonderful. We were in town for my son’s graduation from VT and this house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was great and well stocked, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice! Loved the large outdoor deck with a huge wrap around couch. We enjoyed eating dinner outside on the deck! « Remote but fun »

« The house and town are historic and cute. Swinging bridge within walking distance and leads into the town. 15 min drive from Natural Bridge. 30 min drive from Roanoke. »

« The place was very small and cut up. It was dirty and had ants all in the kitchen. Every room was in some form dirty including showers and toilets. Dangerous stairs to get upstairs and down. Found slugs in basement where two bedrooms were located. Water dripped out of the ceiling onto kitchen counter. Dirty inside cabinets, drawers etc. no where near worth the amount per night. Completely unacceptable. Reached out to owner and her response was that she cleaned it when she was there. Some areas...

« Beautiful scenery and peace of mind lots of wildlife, relaxing environment away from everyday hustle and bustle. We stayed three nights and didn't want to leave. We hope to be able to go back again every year a very special place. »

Enjoyed the River and all the local outdoor activities offered in the area . The Dome had everything we could possibly need an added bonus was getting to order fresh homemade goods that were there when we arrived . We definitely plan to visit and stay here again in the future . »
