« The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The horses are an added bonus of peacefulness making this location unique. Hotels can be beautiful and noisy, this place was like a little slice of heaven. Stay there you won’t be disappointed. John was very good at keeping in touch and seeing if we needed anything. I will definitely stay there again if I am going that way. »

We LOVED the fire pit and smores which our hosts graciously supplied. The countryside was quiet and the night-time stars were spectacular. « This creekside cottage was pretty much as advertised. It was easy to find, clean and comfortable, and quiet. We had a nice mid-week getaway here and enjoyed local attractions like paddling our kayaks at Carvin's Cove, hiking up to Dragons Tooth, and enjoying an end of hike wine at Beliveau Winery. I would recommend it and would return for another stay, maybe in the fall this time. »

« We had an amazing stay at this location. My wife, myself, and another couple were in town for the Virginia Tech football game and had a wonderful time. « It was good place to stay for Parent’s weekend at virginia tech. About 30 minutes from the school. Feels slightly longer due to being in rural area but easy drive. Price was reasonable, beds were very comfortable. It gets very dark, I feel there should be more nightlights and my only issue was the scented detergent or spray on the sheets, we are all allergic to smells so it was a making us sniffy.
