« The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting....

« We celebrated our 50th anniversary with our children and grandchildren. Stacy our host was very helpful and responsive. Hillcrest is well located, absolutely beautiful, the accommodations were amazing with beautifully appointed bedroomscand bathrooms.the kitchen has two of everything! We found everything pefect for our family of thirteen. We enjoyed the porch, the hot tub, played games in the yard. It couldn't have been more perfect! »

« Everything about this property was just as advertised. Clean, comfortable, cozy, peaceful, and private. Really had everything you would need for a multi-day stay. Having a rack of free firewood was the icing on the cake. We spent hours sitting by the firepit enjoying the fall scenery and watching the cows stroll around across the road. Plenty of things to do nearby, boating and fishing on Lake Moomaw, hiking, horseback riding, and we really enjoyed the wine tastings at Rock Roadhouse Winery in...

« Our family enjoyed all the rooms & amenities at the house. Everything was beautiful. The pool & kayaking were a hit. Touring the Greenbrier bunker was educational for all of us. I emailed the owner about a couple of things & he responded promptly. A great place for all of us! »

« The host was easy to work with and they responded in a timely manner when I had questions prior to and during our stay.The house was very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed, and more.We especially like this property because it welcomes canine family members.It's located in a very quiet, private setting.There's a question in this survey about skiing. I only gave one star because we weren't there for skiing nor did I see any ski resorts. »
