« The two of us had a wonderful 4-day stay at the cabin. Julie and Russel were great hosts. Everything in the cabin works and the place is very comfortable. Really spacious for a couple and I think would also work well for a family of 4. It was lovely to sit on the deck overlooking the pond and have our coffee and lunch there, and also enjoyed being in the porch. We saw a Great Blue Heron a couple of times near the pond and my wife saw some foxes on the far side of the pond early one morning....

« Beautiful view from the deck! Enjoyed just hanging out with coffee or cocktails. appreciated both the AC AND the heater! It was cold two days and very warm for the rest of the week. Took out the kayaks!My grandson caught a huge smallmouth bass right off the dock!The walking trail was a great addition. « Cheryl’s place is a lovely cottage near the lake. We loved everything they did to make our stay more enjoyable, from many pairs of water shoes (definitely helpful for swimming!) to folding chairs, floats, and many different coffee-making options. We also loved the wind chimes and napping bed on the screened-in porch.The swimming was good, although it’s a busy lake with many motor boats. We had some long swims and the water was warm / comfortable. It’s best to swim near shore to avoid the boats....

« The house was charming. Everything is clean and updated. Everything from the bedding, to the pots, pans, dishes, and towels were of very nice quality. As cold as it was, the walks by the lake were beautiful and peaceful and the firepit was a great way to end the cold winter days. Leticia was always helpful. She thought of everything, so we really didnt need much! »
