« Our stay at Cassio Cottage was lovely. Thecottage and property were very clean and well maintained. The cottage had so many nice details and activities that made it a perfect getaway for our family. We especially loved the outdoor games, fire pit and wide selection of board games. The view of the stars at night was amazing, too. It was a great got away to spend time together as a family. Thanks for a great stay! »

« My Wife and I took a long weekend up to the sandstone sanctuary, we appreciated having no TV and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the woods surrounding us with the occasional Frank Sinatra song on the bluetooth record player. The house was super cozy and had everything you need for cooking and most importantly relaxing. Justine was super friendly and made sure we knew she was only a phone call away! Loved this place and wish we could give a million stars! Will be visiting again! »

« House was great, clean, beautiful location and very thoughtful. you can hear the sound of moving water when outside on the amazon deck. The communication was great. No dishwasher but on vacation and not cooking much. Loved our stay there wish we could have stayed longer »

« Outstanding beds, great place for a peaceful, relaxing space just outside of State College. Will be on our list for future visits as it was a great place for peace, quiet, and rest in the woods! Wonderful communication and a great experience. »

« I planned on spending my birthday in happy valley and searched all over for a place, then I found Lakewood cottage. I talked it over with the other couple that came with and it was an easy yes for the 4 of us. The place wasn’t far from the stadium and easy to get to. It was clean and tidy and overall an amazing stay for the weekend. We would definitely stay here again. »

« Great property, great stay at a very nice cottage. We visited for the weekend for Penn State’s homecoming. Close to the stadium, easy access to I-99 and plenty of food options w/in 3 miles. Two bedrooms w/king size beds and a couch w/a trundle. Very comfortable w/TV, patio, firepit, and charcoal grill. The worse part of the weekend was the non-stop rain on game day. »

« Had a wonderful weekend at this cottage although we had a lot of rain. Beautiful View of the river. Very well stocked with anything you may need. Only negative was it was very muddy, pretty much calf deep to get down to the water. As there has been weeks of rain lately though this is probably not normally the case. The home also had no outdoor water faucet/ hose but thankfully my son had brought a 5 gallon bucket with so we could fill it in the cottage and bring it outside to wash muddy feet...

« I rented this location for our summer vacation as part of a Christmas present for my astronomy-loving son. It was only about 20 minutes from Cherry Springs State Park, but on a clear night, you also had a beautiful view of the night sky from the property. The house itself was lovely and clean, and it had almost everything we needed for our stay (we second the suggestion for adding a tea kettle). The only negative, which wasn't a true negative for most of our party, was that it really wan't...

"Endroit propre et bien pour seulement 1 coucher en passant. Secteur très tranquille. L'affiche sur lke bord de rue en rentrant a besoin d'être refait depuis plusieurs année, ça n'inspire pas confiance. Mais un coup entré dans l'hôtel, c'est ok. Plusieurs machines pour enlever l'humidité sont présentes. Odeur de tapis pas très agréable, ce serait à enlever pour mettre du plancher flottants. Décoration des années 1980. Correct mais sans plus."
