« My son and I stayed here for a weekend to explore the fall leaf color. As a former VRBO host and a seasoned traveler, I can confidently say that this was my best stay ever. The studio is about one hour away from Grandfather Mountain and Ashville. We flew into Charlotte, which is also about an hour away. The drive to the property is pretty. « This peaceful cottage was fantastic. The hosts were very responsive and provided helpful and very detailed check in instructions. The place was beautifully decorated and easy to access.Places to eat are all within 10-15 minutes and tourists attractions within Boone and Asheville areas were only a 45 minute drive away. « The frame on the bed came apart, dumping the futon onto the floor. The closet is so small, I had to drag the futon outside to re-set the wheels into their tracks on the frame. The shower is an absolute joke - it dribbles. The silverware trays have a year of crumbs and filth in them. I am 5'10", 225 pounds and could barely execute stool paperwork due to insanely tight quarters in the bathroom.
