« While on a motorcycle road trip, I stayed for one night at the Owl’s Perch on September 28th. It is a charming private wood cabin adjacent to the house of the hosts, Doug and Alice. It is quite a unique and peaceful accommodation in Robbinsville, NC, 30 min from the city accessible through a beautiful winding road while being very close to scenic roads and scenery like the Dragon’s tail road. « Very nice cabin in a gorgeous location, right on the river as stated. There are a few catch on the fly surf waves right in front of the river view deck so for paddlers, this is an amazing bonus! The place is wonderful. Only thing missing is laundry but thats not a big deal. WiFi works well if needed. Highly reccomend and Id stay again for sure. »

« Really lovely place. Our kids (14 & 11) absolutely loved the animals. The alpacas, donkeys, goats and chickens were awesome. Kids got to do feedings of the goats and chickens with Collin and had such fun. Collin and Jenn are great communicators. We stayed in the Bobcat cabin and it was fantastic. Very comfortable and so we’ll done up. We even were given fresh eggs that the kids collected at the morning feeding. I can highly recommend Cobb Cabins. »

« The kids walked in and immediately said they wanted to buy a tiny house!! haha! The place was so clean and just perfect for 4 of us. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. We came in the heat of summer and the AC units were nice and cold. The kitchen had everything to cook a small dinner. The shower was so much bigger than I thought it would be. And there was storage everywhere for our bags and clothes. We will be back to see what it is like in the winter and again and again! »

« So, I booked our room back in September, October of 2021. Between then and when our trip was, the property changed owners. Apparently, there was a bit of a mixup with the booking and the whole lodge was booked for a reunion. We get there to check in, and not only do they still accommodate us, despite the mixup, they gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. We were staying for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled with everything. We will definitely visit again in the future. »
