« the island is very beautiful and peaceful. the building is an old camp and unfortunately was not very well maintained. There was two broken chairs and one collapsed the first night we were there. The bathroom was disgusting and clearly had not been cleaned in a while. the bath mat was dirty and stained. The kitchen floor and stove top was so dirty we felt compelled to perform a deep clean before using it. Given the cost to rent this rustic cabin we were expecting it to be clean. We were let...

« I would highly recommend this well stocked, maintain cottage. It was very clean, nicely decorated and just the perfect place for us and our fur babies. It is well stocked with all the essential. Stephanie was a pleasure to communicate with, and very responsive. Will certainly book again. »

« This was such a sweet spot! We were right by the bike path/causeway, which was a big plus for us. We didn’t get a chance to take out the kayaks, but the kayak access and bike access was greatly appreciated. A wonderful rental for a fun family vacation. Would book again :) »

« A wonderful home that was the perfect size and had everything that I needed for a solo trip. I stayed in all 3 days and did not skii, hike, or bike. I did not have to reach out to the host at all during the trip. Sunlight was a plenty, kitchen equipment and bathroom was well stocked, bed and couches were comfortable. The only thing to note is that the HVAC systems are in the closet in the bedroom, so there was sometimes a low fan noise in the night. I didn't bring my ear plugs, but I slept fine....

« My family of 4 and 2 fur babies had an incredible time at this beautiful property! The cottage had everything you could need and the view was priceless! We enjoyed floating in the lake; watching the sunset; visiting some of the local restaurants on Church Street in Burlington; and walking the Causeway. « We can't say enough good things about Garden Island and staying in Willow cabin (boathouse). It's all about being next to Lake Champlain. The peace, the beauty, the many ways to play or rest. Relaxing on the screened in porch is awesome in all weather and was our favorite feature. It has a million dollar view that far surpasses most rental homes and definitely is the best on the island.
