« Excellent place »

« Really enjoyed the stay here, very close to Burlington and a great lake escape. The beach is much bigger and nicer than expected, and use of paddleboards and kayak made for a really fun place to stay. Plenty of space, clean, and tons of outdoor areas to relax in. Recommend! »

« My family had a wonderful time at Julie’s place! It was beautifully decorated, clean & felt like home. The perfect location between Burlington & Stowe with privacy of woods surrounding the property. We loved hanging around the cozy fire pit in the backyard. Julie was easy to communicate with, especially for recommendations in the area. We will definitely come back same time next year! »

« Loved this little beach cottage. Fully stocked with everything you could need. Great location. We were there for UVM graduation and it was 15 min away from just about everywhere we wanted to be! Beds were really comfy. Only thing is the bathroom and shower are tiny - so if you are a larger human, this might be an issue. Otherwise loved it. »

« The cottage was exactly as advertised - clean and tidy, nicely decorated, right on the lake, with small but functional kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, good AC, plenty of extra linens and towels and a beautiful view of the bay and marina. As others have mentioned, the property sits on a busy road, but because it is set back down a slope and partially fenced, feels quiet and safe. « The location was perfect and close to activities and markets, but also secluded. The cottage was so clean and unique inside it felt like a very special getaway. We took advantage of the local drive in, shops, and the amazing views on the lake. This place is truly a hidden gem and I would absolutely recommend staying here. »

« Garden Island is a beautiful spot for a family getaway. The island is secluded yet easily accessible, and the availability of canoes, kayaks, and paddleboard makes it even easier to enjoy the area. The staff and other guests were all friendly and helpful, it feels like a community, and even the dogs were all well behaved. The Willow apartment was not very clean and is pretty run down, but it is comfortable enough to provide a home base and launching point to enjoy the island and region. We got...

« Light and airy summer cottage with great gathering spaces both indoor and out. The host goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable providing plush towels and pillows, chairs and umbrellas for the beach and is responsive to questions that may arise. Perfectly located in a quiet friendly neighborhood near the bike trail and airport park with pickleball courts. We bought floats and enjoyed swimming and floating in the sandy bottomed lake.
