« Host was very responsive. Extremely easy check-in/check-out. Quiet, simple and right in the heart of the town. Walking distance to everything. The stairs are very narrow and steep but there are handles and small landings on each floor that make it easier to navigate. Parking is in the alley behind the building but it was a very short walk to the main door. It was clean and perfect for a short stay. »

« Butterfly park retreat was just what my family and I needed for our overnight stay in Decorah. I was traveling with my two adult children and my seven month old granddaughter. Our host went to extra lengths to take care of us, separating the king size bed into two twins and setting up a pack and play, even providing a highchair. When we arrived, we also found baby wash, baby shampoo and a hooded bath towel among other thoughtful gestures by our host. We would definitely recommend this place to...

« Great place. Loved the location. The space is large and inviting. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. The kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms are comfortable. Easy walking to several restaurants and local shops. We came to fish for trout, stayed a week. Centrally located to good trout streams and a visit to the seed savers exchange is a must. Lots of good hiking trails as well. We plan to stay here again. »
