« This was our second time to come and stay at this cozy little mountain top retreat. Stunning views. Everything you need to stay in, or venture out. We love the Mentone and Fort Payne area. So many waterfalls and hiking trails. An outdoor lovers dream away from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet close to all the necessities for a short or extended stay. Highly recommend. »

« This was such a nice little gem in mentone. Our kids loved walking down to the water and playing, and feeding ducks. We made a fire for marshmallows one night and we really enjoyed the large screened in porch. It was spacious and stocked with everything we needed. »

« My wife and I had a wonderful time at the cottage! Balpha was so welcoming and called to check in on us since we had to arrive late at night. It was a real treat getting to see DeSoto Falls from the second floor bedroom, and being so close we were able to walk there! Truly we were just in awe that this is where we were staying - the kitchen was so cute and had everything we needed to cook with, the bed were comfortable (nice soft mattress!), and there was so much space to just hang out and relax...

« Our daughter goes to camp in Mentone. This cabin was a perfect place to stay the night before “drop off”. Very helpful staff and super clean!!! My only hesitation in writing this review is I don’t want too many people to find this letter gem (wink wink) »
