1. Secluded PoolHouse Estate

Cliftondale

« The home was presented as clean and welcoming, and the pool was a highlight of our stay. The pool was well maintained, and a service person came to clean it during our visit. The beds were comfortable; however, the pillows were of poor quality and only two were provided per bed. Guests may wish to bring their own pillows for added comfort. While the property was generally pleasant, it lacked several basic amenities that we would normally expect in a vacation rental, including a toaster, cutting...

« Gorgeous property! So much nicer than shown in the photos! The house is very spacious and laid out so that family members can have their own place to retreat. The outdoors is surrounded by acres of trees where you will see deer roam and two goats that love to run around and play. (I think their names are Lizzy and Avery). The driveway, pond, pool and surrounding yard are lit with solar lights in the evening adding to it's charm. The owner is wonderful and very accommodating. I highly recommend...

« By far my worst rental experience to date, including last minute motels. Appeared to have never been cleaned. My husband and I attempted to begin cleaning, including the walls due to the dirt and grime built up, and we decided once we noticed a human shaped grime cloud next to the toilet and blood on the wall that this is beyond help. The sheets were soiled, smelled heavily, and had dandruff on them. My guests that were with us stopped by and agreed we cannot sleep or wash here. Host was...

« Upon entering the property. I saw that the accommodations were not the quality I thought I had paid for. Because of the overall uncleanliness that came with an odor, my family was uncomfortable. But with how much money was spent and how far and long we had driven to this property. We had no other choice but to stay. This was supposed to be a trip to celebrate our son retiring from the military. While also being able to relax and enjoy our time there since we barely get to see him. I highly...

« The place is very beautiful! My only issues are that there was no communication from the host and it said garage parking. I received check in after I sent a message on vrbo on the morning of. Checkin was super easy. Listing says garage parking which was the main reason I booked there. When we arrived two vehicles were blocking the garage. I texted her with no response. I texted her after we left with some issues she might want to take care of and again received no communication back. ...
