« I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means. »

« If you are looking for a place that is big enough for your group to stay together and still have space to get away from them ... this place is perfect. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom and there was plenty of space for the kids to play and not get in the way. Ample dining space and the kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. Us older folks appreciated the elevator too. Hot tub and pool were a big hit and we even went fishing. Host is fabulous and answered all of our questions promptly. ...
