« We had a wonderful time here. We fished right off the dock, the house was very clean, it felt cozy and spread out enough that we didn’t feel cramped. There was a Walmart 15 minutes away for big grocery shopping and the smaller store 3 minutes from the house for last minute things. We drove to Tishomingo one day and shopped the little town and antique store. Mostly stayed at the house played games, kayaked, fished and watched movies. It was absolutely wonderful. »

« The weather was unseasonably warm for Christmas so we were able to enjoy the outdoors - did some canoe rides, visited around the firepit and kids did crafts outside on the deck. Lots of places to hike and explore. House was well-equipped with game room and several TV's so no fighting over what to watch :-). Loved the open living spaces. »

« This is a charming house with hosts who have a background in the hospitality industry. There were a dozen details that were so thoughtful. From the well organized welcome book, to snacks, tea and coffee, and a lovely bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal, including an air fryer! This section of the peninsula has a wide variety of houses from trailers in various states of repair to cute lake houses. We felt perfectly safe, but it wasn't the charming lake...

« This property was perfect for our 80 degree December days. The property is private and has lots of nature to look at. We saw 3 bald eagles, ducks and geese. The house was so clean and fresh when we walked in and we had a beautiful Christmas tree in the living room. I will definitely rent this place again if I’m in the area. »

« The house well decorated and very cozy. The showers were awesome along with the kitchen. The location was great with Bois d’Arch lake only about 12 minutes away. The grounds were large with more than adequate boat parking. The owners were very friendly and responsive. Would go back in any time. »
