« This cottage is so cute, across the street from the ferry landing and the general store, and has the best front porch ever. The owners also put time into honoring the history of the home and the island. « This place is newly remodeled and very comfortable. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and air conditioning. We were visiting family nearby so we did not go to Oakland Beach but it is a short walk away. The bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs and the stairs are steep, as they are in most older New England homes. « Very cute cottage in a country-feel setting while still being an easy drive to amenities, nature, and attractions. Host was very responsive and welcoming - she even brought by some home grown tomatoes (yum!). Laundry onsite is a big plus with a toddler, summer humidity, and multi-activity days.
