« Amazing property! Beautiful old southern manor which has been maintained true to its heritage. We felt privileged to stay in this beautiful home. « Absolutely adorable little cabin nestled directly on the waters edge. A minutes walk from the boat ramp and dock. Very homey feeling, nothing fancy, but more than enough to enjoy a weekend away with the family. It’s close to Shakertown village, and only 45 minutes from Lexington. We spent two nights in “big cabin” the kids loved it. Good WiFi connection, YouTube, and Netflix available. The owner was available and friendly. « Very spacious, enjoyed the view of the lake, and the pool table. Everyone had plenty of room, very comfortable and quiet neighborhood. We will be back again. »

« Great house with plenty of space for our group. We loved being greeted by the cows across the road when we would return from our daily outings. House is quite aways from town so be prepared to drive. But that would not deter us from renting it again when in the area. »

Our host was helpful in recommending a few great local restaurants and bourbon spots. The home was clean and organized. The check in and out process was easy. The deck was a great location to enjoy some bourbon with a nice view. »
