« We enjoyed our stay. We were there for a drifting event at Talledega Grand Prix Raceway. There was plenty of parking for our truck, enclosed trailer & another vechile. It was less than an hour to the track. Being on the water was perfect for starting and ending our days there. The host was great ansewering questions and providing information timely. I will mention it is an upstairs apartment above a detached garage. But other than the stairs you would never know you were above a garage. Will...

« The property and amenities were exactly as described. It was clean and well appropriated. The host was super responsive and accommodating. My stay was during a long period of extreme cold temps but the house stayed warm and cozy and the hot tub was especially enjoyable! There is a great casual lakeside restaurant within walking distance of this property. I will definitely be returning to this retreat in the future. »

« The pictures do not match reality. Home was dirty and smelled of smoke. Home was also very small for 10 people. We did not stay, too many issues to list all of them. I asked for a full refund and we were offered a partial refund; still working on this... I believe the photos are enhanced with AI to make the home look freshly painted and clean. Stove/oven was greasy and black (picture shows a white oven), walls and floors dirty. Random stuff laying around, including trash, broken eye glasses...
