« Very peaceful location and a very comfortable stay. The building has so much character! It was actually quite warm despite the snow outside! Kids loved the bunkbeds and the kitchen had plenty of space top spread out! »

« We very much enjoyed our stay at this warm and welcoming home. There was plenty of room to have a quiet space to yourself and for everyone to come together for a family meal. We had a fire in the firepit and made S'mores. Waking up to the sounds of horse & buggies clip clopping down the road was a highlight to all of us. Our hosts David & Esther were avaliable to answer any questions. »

« I will start off with the cons. After initial communication I had 3 questions sent to host that were never answered. A final question was answered on the last day when it was too late. That was about access to the washer and dryer as stated in listing. "Fully stocked coffee station" consisted of 4 coffee pods. We were 5 adults there for 3 days ?????? Also, make sure you take shower gel, soap and/or shampoo with you. Hand soap was all that was provided. Two of the three mattresses were taco...

« Well landscaped and appointed, with rolling and beautiful farmland, & a small pristine cow pasture out the front door, layers of wonderful Pa. woods surrounding it. Sweet Arow Lake nearby is a wonderful hike with a nice waterfall. Trout stocked year round. The farm nearby is not objectionable at all, but a line of arborvitae would screen even that. Then you are in a private and beautiful world. »

« We had a great get-away visit. Plenty of room so that even though we had a lot of people we weren't right on top of each other. The house was very comfortable.Outside was nice as well and we enjoyed walking, throwing a football around with the kids and chilling with the friendly mellow dog.Would definitely book again... »

« We rented the farmhouse as a base for visiting family back home over Christmas week, and it was like living in a Hallmark Christmas movie house. Absolutely beautiful, incredibly private, tastefully decorated for Christmas, and stocked with anything you could ever possibly need (and more!). One thing that made the week a success for our 3-generation group was the layout: my elderly parents got the master bedroom/bath, my husband & I and teenage kids took the other "half" of the upstairs. ...
