« Loved this cute little basement apartment for our stay at Harpers Ferry! Parking was a little tight but at least there was parking. The room still smelled new and beds were so comfortable! Only issue was the upstairs neighbors decided to run their water starting at 5:45am and the water pipes were very noisy in the basement! It woke both me and my friend up… we tried to fall back asleep but gave up by 7 when it was clear they were not turning it off anytime soon. Other than that it was great! »

« Absolutely loved staying in this historic apartment! The hosts are incredibly friendly and the area is very walkable with local food and shops within a quarter to half mile. Such a great experience here, can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to stay again! »

« The owners have a wonderful apartment decorated beautifully and fresh, bright, clean and well stocked with items one may have forgotten to pack. Be it toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo. The kitchen has all the essential items needed. You are close to many different locations to visit, should you desire. It was our experience that any time we had a question or wondered about something, we received an answer promptly. They truly put forth thought and effort into everything. »

« Bonnie’s place was perfect for me and my husband! We loved the location, as it was close to everything we wanted to do. The space was clean, well appointed and had lots of little thoughtful “extras”. We would stay here again. »

« Needed to be in the Brunswick, Frederick, Charles Town area. This place fit the bill. Convenient, quiet, with off street parking. Great communication with the owners. Would absolutely stay there again. »

« Trouvaille is a perfect walk to town and historic sites. The history and decor of the house are charming and Christie is a grt host. »

« Everything was wonderful. The property was beautiful. There were other people staying at the homes on site, but none of it was a distraction. Close enough to town to do excursions. The only thing I would add is maybe a screen door so that you could allow some extra fresh air in and light. Hosts were wonderful and easy to contact when we needed something. Recommend for a cozy gate away. »

« We met long time friends there for a few days over Memorial Day. Although the kitchen is small, it was well-stocked with the items we needed. There was a multipurpose appliance that was a toaster, a microwave, and an oven with directions. We used all three. It could use a bigger refrigerator. We also were able to grill hamburgers on an outdoor grill. We had our own patio and the yard is beautiful. My one complaint is that the Wi-Fi signal was weak and the door locks tricky. « Park your car and walk to all the wonderful sites that town has to offer. My fiancé loved watching the trains come and go, and they did not wake us through the night. The outlets in the living room didn't work, but that wasn't a big enough deal to remove a star. The rocking chairs on the porch were so comfortable, and it was great to have a free reserved parking spot since it costs 20 and is difficult to get a public spot later in the day to tour. Within two blocks, you have several options...

« Friendly owner. Came over when I couldn't start the pilot light on the gas wall heater. A few blocks away from some excellent restaurants in the historic district. It's in a remodeled basement with air ducts so head clearance is limited for tall folk. »
