« I stayed at one of the cottages and it was probably the most adorable night away from home I've ever had. The room was immaculate the bedding was excellent and the bathroom was amazing. My daughter and I stayed here as it was the only place near Oriental that had any space the weekend I went. A little fancier than we would normally pick but everyone was really nice. « The place was cozy, inside very clean and had what we needed. The outside landscaping could really use some work as briars were growing up through the deck. They did say that there would be bottled water and toiletries, however, there was none to be found. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching boats going in and out and it was a perfect place for Bible and coffee in the morning. The peace and quiet was what we treasured the most. « We enjoyed our stay and the listing was perfectly described. The home was fully stocked with everything you would need. The home was right on the river where we enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets and relaxing on the pier and porch. I loved eating dinner on on the screened in porch and reading my book on the swing. Short drive (8-10 minutes across the bridge) into New Bern which is a very cute town with lots of attractions and good restaurants. It was worth the 45-50 minute drive to Atlantic...
