« This was our second stay at Serenity Point and we really enjoyed our week. We were looking for a relaxing week and we found it here. Everything was perfect from sharing coffee while watching the sunrise to seeing the dolphins play right off the dock. We found everything we needed for our stay and enjoyed grilling out a couple of evenings. We tried our luck with fishing, but only caught a couple of small fish. We look forward to a return visit soon. »

« Call My Bluff hosted by Ms. Terry & is an excellent property. This is our 2nd weeklong stay while our kiddo is at one of the nearby camps during the day. Highlights for me were the peaceful moments on the hammock, or having morning coffee on the back porch looking out at the expansive river view. Highlights for the family were fishing on the dock & spending late afternoons in the pool. Don’t feel like cooking, then nearby Oriental has you covered. Need a a fun activity for the family, Aurora...

« Super cute cottage. The surrounding areas were nice. Met with the owners of the property which had large fire pit, if you like farm animals like ducks chickens and goats you’d love this home. We did run into an issue with the water heater not operating correctly the owner attempted to fix it but was unable. We were offered to use a shower room attached to the home. We had a 2 night booking and would stay again as the only inconvenience was no hot water for both days. »

9. 'Aqua'estrian - Perfectly cozy and comfortable!

Arapahoe

« The price fit the gated community but after entering the rental it was apparent it lacked in cleanliness. There were also cob webs and a ton of spiders throughout. The main bedroom bed linens were over used and stained. We were glad we brought our own blanket. The bed was uncomfortable and sunken, leaving us both sore in the morning. We didn’t rent the place to spend much time inside, but it ended up raining one night and the TV was too small to even watch. We stayed in another rental at sugar...

10. Hatteras Captains Cottage w/King, NC - River Dunes

Oriental

« I stayed at one of the cottages and it was probably the most adorable night away from home I've ever had. The room was immaculate the bedding was excellent and the bathroom was amazing. My daughter and I stayed here as it was the only place near Oriental that had any space the weekend I went. A little fancier than we would normally pick but everyone was really nice. My only negative about this space was that the water was not really cold in the shower. I know that sounds like a first world...

« Weekend at New Bernies was a clean and comfortable place for our family to relax and reconnect. The location is beautiful and well worth the adventure down the bumpy dirt road to get there. The hosts supply kayaks and accessories, yard and board games, fishing gear, and comfy chairs to enjoy the view. WiFi was spoty but plenty of better entertainment options. My biggest complaint was Weekend at Bernie’s was not included in the DVD collection ! Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience, hope...
