« It's a beautiful property that is well laid out. It's close to the river and has easy access for swimming and fishing. The home we stayed in had lots of seating for meals, two refrigerators, and a huge kitchen, so feeding 15 people was a breeze. There is a nice porch with a picnic table and some adirondack chairs from which you can hear the river. Very peaceful. Of course, we were there in December, so off season, but still very nice. The only thing that would make it better would be hand towels...

« Perfect house for a big group. It has six separate rooms like a small motel and a common kitchen/livingroom/dinning room. It has a huge patio and a beautiful pool area with a bar and outdoor TV. We loved it. Even got to watch a preseason game out by the pool. Highly recommended!!! »

« Lovely property in the hill country for a peaceful getaway! Saw deer and heard turkeys, plenty of birds to watch. Pond was low from the drought but lovely non the less »

« The RIV is a fantastic place to stay, and we will be doing it again. The staff was crazy responsive, the lodge was amazing, and the amenities even in the weather were great. If you haven't been to the Texas Hill Country, this is a great place to come and enjoy it. »
