« An extremely well-thought out property. The owners are clearly energy/climate conscious people because this is a very energy efficient house which works very well. It was a pleasure to stay here. And while the neighbourhood is not the most salubrious (it is not unsafe!), it is convenient to shopping and restaurants. The Thai Home Restaurant in Marsh Street is good. EV charging is available at CCentrepoint shopping, a little over 1km away. »

« The cottage was so unbearably cold that despite a log fire, electric blankets and a tiny electric heater we could not bare it. Freezing drafts leaked in around every window and door and the owner advised they were unable to provide us with any additional heating. We ended our stay a day early and moved on. »

« Host was very welcoming, had the essentials in the fridge ready for me. Everything was comfortable and located very close to amenities. The air con did have some issues but hopefully for the next person it will be rectified. The host had repairs out immediately to try to sort it out. Was a charming Armidale stay. »

« David was a great host, sending us instructions for the house at the appropriate time. The house looks unassuming from the outside, but inside the renovations were perfect with an overall feeling of spaciousness. As advertised, it is close to everything we needed, with two pubs at the end of the street and a cafe nearly opposite. »

« Unfortunately the BBQ needed a thorough clean as did the kitchen. The dishwasher was mouldy and putrid. The beds were okay. The house would benefit from being fumigated as we found cockroaches and ants. Blinds fell off without being touched. We had to attach them to the window frame ourselves. The location was good but the exterior of the house was affected by termites. Consequently we were frightened to go on the verandahs upstairs. The house slept 8 bit there were only 8 plates.
