« The place is as described and it was clean. It was cold when we entered and only has one unit to heat the whole place and it never got warm. We also did not have any hot water. The train tracks are directly above the property and ran every hour which made sleeping difficult. When I contacted the host I asked for credit for the second night due to these issues. « Communication was very good. For the most part, we had an enjoyable stay. There were a couple of deficiencies during our five nights. We were unable to regulate the temperature in the kitchen/living room area, even though we set the thermostat to 80. The temperature never warmed up and it felt quite chilly but we managed. « The house is nice and clean and very convenient to get to from the heart of New Paltz. The kitchen isn't very equipped for cooking, but there are plenty of dishes and coffee cups. « This was a perfect location, in the Rondout neighborhood. The house is cozy, charming and so comfortable. We could walk to our friend's house, to restaurants and the nearby shops. Hopped in the car to head out to apple picking and a great dinner at Chleo uptown. Rebecca and Steven are warm and welcoming, and were very quick to my questions.
