« Everything about Carroll Cabin was wonderful. It was absolutely immaculate, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, but best of all were the thoughtful little touches that made it feel like a home. The location was perfect for easily accessing the trails in Red River Gorge. »

I would highly recommended... and yes the have full kitchen gear, and people have left behind spices, dish soap, hand soap. Basically the place is stocked. I didn't knoe what to expect for shopping and what not, but there are plenty of stores, coffee, gas station, tourist activities, hiking, etc. All within 20 minutes »

« Key pickup was no problem. Nice home-base for day hiking in the park; tho located on a state route, the parkway runs just behind so noise might be an issue during warmer months. The bigger bed is not a queen... (nor is it a king). The shower is not suitable for tall or big people »

« The property was mostly as represented on the VRBO listing.It was pretty clean (some of the area rugs needed to washed or vacuumed and some of the floor hadn't been swept.) There was plenty of light, both natural and lighting in the cottage. The location was secluded and private. I didn't like that how far from things didn't seem accurately represented. The 2nd bedroom was misrepresented by a different view of the 1st bedroom. The 2nd bedroom wasn't as private since the kitchen had a window that...
