« Property was as advertised--roomy, quirky--with well laid-out/supplied kitchen. Need tech savvy to work TVs (2). We were there to meet up with family at Caroline Colorama trail ride. Oct weather was hot (upper 80s) but we didn't need or use a/c. Good place to bring several young kids; one b/r has 4 twin beds. Great restaurant tip: The Vault in Clintonville.There are canoes and firewood--but you can't use them.Be advised host is not quick to respond to pre-trip messages. »

« My husband and I brought our 2 sons and each brought a friend. The place was well equipped with fun activities for the kids. They have bags/cornhole, kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, bikes and a huge lake to fish from. We ended our nights around the fire pit and then went inside to play games. There is a nearby public beach accessible by car, bike or walking. Needless to say - the boys were rarely on their phones and that was a huge bonus for us.The owners are wonderful and very responsive....

Some things were found in vaninets/drawers from prior guests, a broken fishing pole was in the back fire pit, and one of the bedrooms seemed to be missing the TV remote. We did alert the host, but seeing as it didn't impact our trip, it really wasn't a big deal. Still, I wanted to share the facts. »
