« This is definitely an old country home for sure! And the host prefers to call and introduce you to the property. I would've preferred to have written instructions for when I got there, since I was travelling alone. However, he was very nice and lived up the road if you needed anything! « It was a nice, cozy cottage / cabin in the woods. It had everything you need and it was clean. Quiet and peaceful. We seen deer, a jack rabbit and chipmunks running around in the back chasing each other and collecting acorns. Made some s'mores at the fire at night. Plenty of wood. South Higgins Lake State Park is 5 minutes away and so is Marl Lake State hiking trail. The owner / host was very nice. My wife and kids enjoyed this place. We will be back next year. »
