« The house was very convenient to everything in and around Ironwood and Hurley. The host also provided extra toiletries, snacks and bottled water which was greatly appreciated. The home is comfortable and had everything we needed for our two night stay. »

« A wonderful property right on Lake Superior! Home was very well stocked, everything you need. Up to date kitchen and bathrooms! And the location, wow! Very secluded and great access to the lake. Definitely coming back to this home! »

« Three couples trailered our side-by-sides 9 hours to stay for 6 days of fun. Weather didn’t cooperate as much as we’d like but we still had a good time. Minor issues on the property requires some attention…but nothing major. This is a beautiful and comfortable home. The owners are extremely responsive with any/all questions. We are looking forward to booking again for next year. »

« We can't say enough good things about our stay at this historic mansion. The owners are working on the property, but there was absolutely zero intrusions or noise. The hosts were amazing, and their attention to detail is outstanding! It was like a trip back in time! However, the amenities are certainly modern and well thought out. « There was a hicup with verizon cell phone provider doesn't work in this area. So, i didn't get the information to access. Went to the White Pine mall and got wifi to get that info. Great location for Porcupine Mtns and the many waterfalls we visited. House was great. »

« Great place to stay that is just outside of Houghton. Plenty of room to relax after a busy day visiting MTU. »

« Beautiful cabin with wonderful amenities and tons of charm! Communication with the property manager was excellent, and check-in/out was a breeze. The location is a bit off the beaten path, and the unique layout takes some flexibility with sleeping arrangements, but overall we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway! »

« Nice place with plenty of room. The kitchen was clean and even had an air fryer and blender. The queen bed was a bit soft for my taste but that is a preference not a requirement. The local bakery, Bread of Life, had wonderful pastries and pasties. Joe checked in with us a couple times just to be sure everything was great. And it was. We were near plenty of great places to hike and enjoy the area. If we come back to this part of the UP, we will be checking here again. »
