« When we arrived, it was later in the evening. We were excited to be up north and meeting friends, and admittedly we were in a hurry. The breakfast sign-up policy was explained, and unfortunately we forgot to turn in the breakfast form by the 8 p.m. deadline. I texted the host to apologize and explained that my husband and I are not picky eaters at all and would be happy with anything — we just asked if he could surprise us with breakfast at our already scheduled 9 a.m. time.
