« This cabin was perfect for a great rustic and cozy vacation. The hosts were very nice. If you book in the winter, be aware that it is winter-proofed in a way that we were unable to see outside. Not a big deal since it still let light in, but a little odd. We loved our stay! Would for sure recommend. »

« This was advertised as "rustic" but was actually beyond rough. Dirty and in disrepair. Unsafe and unsanitary. Missing smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector. Dust and grime built up in the vents and windowsills. Black mold on the walls and ceilings. Messaged with the host ahead of time and was mislead on the state of this accomodation. Found it was totally uninhabitable. Took photos and reported to VRBO and was fully refunded by the platform based on those pics alone. »

« Overall was a great stay however, it would have been nice if the kitchen had a more updated utensil/pan/pots. Although the mineral build up is inevitable with the hard water, and for the price per night, it was slightly off putting when eating and cooking. The neighbors were friendly and it was nice being tucked away and central to Caseville and Port Austin! »

Reduced my stars because it could use a good deep clean - I have allergies and the moldy, musty smells made me miserable. Also stains on some of the bedding. »

« The cabin was very cozy and relaxing and the beds were comfortable. The cabin was well stocked with toilet paper and clean towels and was very clean. The hot tub and tub worked great and the fire place was stocked with plenty of wood. The sound system wasn’t working because the internet was down but we had brought our own blue tooth speaker so our stay and small family wedding turned out very lovely. We were very thankful for the hosts making their place available. The hosts were very responsive...
