« This lake getaway was amazing! Water was crystal clear and Loons on the lake were a surprising bonus. If you want a place to be away from it all, this is ideal. Charming cabin, delightful host, amazing views. To be noted: the water/toilet/electricity is all on a generator and pump. We weren’t expecting that, but the host was very kind and showed up to walk us through how it all works. No issues after that. « Certainly not your typical soulless empty purpose built rental. Jan & George have filled their unique little space with interesting items. We spent three nights and every day noticed something else to look at. The wildlife is incredible, hummingbirds, fish, squirrels, it’s obvious they’re very fond of the property and their humans. « We wanted a getaway that was the definition of tranquility and we found it! We were so thrilled to stay at the domes for that reason. We loved the personal touches and enjoyed the serene feel of it all. The walk to the beaver habitat was delightful. Having a coveted barbecue area to cook was perfect! We visited the Port Royal habitation, which was nearby, and the town of Annapolis Royal, which was just a 20 minute drive. We will be back for sure! »
