« From hiking through the blue ridge tunnel, canoeing down the Jackson river with Alleghany Outfitters, attending a jamboree in Floyd, visiting a local bee sanctuary, or running into local pie shops like Woodruffs, we traveled all over the area and had sooo much fun. « The home is in such a beautiful and peaceful setting. If you need to relax and get away, this is it! The house provided everything we needed and was so welcoming and cozy. The fire pit was a big hit and the porch was great for watching the morning sunrise and having breakfast. It was a wonderful quiet country getaway. The communication with owner was quick! Our visit to the area exposed us to both history and agriculture. The farmhouse certainly further illustrated that. All the work done to refresh this home years back has kept it's original luster.
