« Nice clean house with a great deck. »

« The home was beautiful. Right on the lake, wonderful yard and deck overlooking the lake. The back porch was covered, with multiple, comfortable dining and seating options. The overhead heaters were perfect as we experienced some cold weather but still loved sitting outside together around the fire. The inside was well furnished and completely updated. « House was perfect for our weekend of wine tasting. So close to so many wineries and Elkin and a literal stone"s throw from the gas station and Dollar General. House is in great condition and has all the big and luttle things you might need in your home away from home! »

« Really nothing special. Furniture in back was thrown all around. Nothing was set up. Dirty ashtrays sitting on tables in back and front of home. Ants in bathroom. It wasn’t as pleasant as we thought it would be. Some of the towels looked dirty etc. very surprising. »

« Bedrooms were a little tight, and the plastic mattress covers were a little noisy. But over all, everything was fine. We appreciated the filtered water jug. And we continued to admire the paintings and artwork all around.We sat outside and enjoyed the peaceful back yard. »

« We rented this home for my son’s wedding. The groomsmen and dates stayed here. The house was large enough for them to all be comfortable and close enough to Hickory for the wedding. The game room was a big hit. Had it been warmer and they had more time, they would have taken advantage of the lakefront. The hosts were so attentive to make sure our stay was comfortable and stress free. Highly recommend this home and Flying Squirrel! »
