« Everything from check in, check out, communication and amenities was excellent during our stay. Laurie and her husband Pat were amazing property managers. It snowed while we were staying and Pat plowed the driveways and salted the walkways. We forgot a few items and Laurie was kind enough to mail them back to us. I can’t say enough about our wonderful trip. We’ll definitely try to stay here again. »

« Just as described but better, fantastic house with everything you need and more. Host is very responsive and courteous. This house has great rooms and the kitchen is huge with Wolf appliances, we fed 12 people easily at the island with plenty of room for more. The pool and. Hot tub are large with more than enough seating. The house is full of unique art and the location is great. We had a great time and will book again if we are in the area. »

« Great house for 3-4 families. Lots of space and beds. Nice bathroom layout was very convenient. Kitchen and Dining room made for great dinners. Owner was very responsive. Skiied 3 days at Hunter and would recommend. »

« We are a group of cyclists in town for The Tour of the Battenkill 2025. The property was absolute perfection. A beautifully restored farm house with lots of barn space for our bikes, we felt so comfortable and welcome there. The house is perfectly appointed with tons of space and comfortable bedrooms. We had two wonderful dinners and sat out on the beautiful patio watching the sunset and reliving the Bike Race of the day.The grounds are exquisitely kept and a morning hike on the property was...

« The house exceeded our expectations ! The house was spacious , clean and well stocked with all the essentials you can think of. The hosts have thought of everything down to the small details . I will definitely recommend this home for any future visits . It was about 20 minutes from Windham mountain. »

« This house is better (and larger) than it looks in the photos. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen and even the bathrooms are enviably renovated. We did have a minor issue, but the hosts handled it promptly and kindly. We'd definitely stay here again. Bonus points for a ton of fireflies and deer. »

« While in town attending Suny Cobleskill graduation, we were looking for a property nearby. This farmhouse fit the bill. It was neaty decorated and the host was very gracious in leaving some treats for us at check in. There were plenty of beds to sleep my whole family. »

« We enjoyed cooking, reading and relaxing in this spacious lovely farmhouse. We had a chance to check out the historic John Burroughs site (what a view!) and bought fresh farm produce and meats at a nearby D & D Farm. Geoffrey and Powell has everything you would need during the stay in a top notch shape. »

« We were so excited to come up to see James Taylor at Tanglewood. This house was perfect, just 20 mins away. The layout was nice and open. We didn't make much use of the kitchen since we were there for a short stay but it was updated with nice appliances. There wasn't any air conditioning but the fans were good and the house was comfortable. »

« We were a group of moms and sons (high school seniors) who stayed here for a long weekend. This place was perfect for us - well appointed and accommodating. It had everything we needed (beach towels, linens) and more (martini glasses, well-equipped kitchen)! The quality of everything was spectacular. We could have stayed here indefinitely with the hot tub, pool, grounds, fire pit, etc. We can't wait to come back here again! »

« We had two families with kids staying at the Grange for New Years. The property was perfect for us. Lots of room for the kids to run outside and the right amount of beds/bedrooms! Really great place »

« The pictures do not do this home justice. The house is just beautiful, roomy, and plenty of beds and rooms. Everything in the home is clean, fairly new, well stocked, and working well. Strangely enough there is no microwaves but that didn't effect us at all because we had a professional cook with our group. There was nothing we needed in the home that we had to go get. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable and the grounds are beautiful.We appreciated the chocolate and granola bars after a long day of travel. It was a very nice touch.
