« This home, the host, and the location are fabulous. The setting is quiet and secluded, yet extremely close to downtown. You can sit quietly on the porch, watch the animals & birds, sit by the fire and in 5 minutes be downtown for dinner, shopping and sites. Close proximity to many historic sites. The host is wonderful, enjoy playing with her dogs, the home is comfortable and well appointed and beautiful. You will not be disappointed. »

« 5 stars for clean is not enough. Rough cut wood like this is almost impossible to clean dust yet no dust anywhere. Hundreds of “little things”. Everywhere you look little touches of charm complimenting the civil war era. Also, I’ve stayed in no less than 30 vacation homes and non have made you feel more welcomed and cherished as a guest.
