« The house and accomodations were very pleasant and super clean. The bedrooms are upstairs with a fll bath and ac. The snacks and drinks provided added an extra touch throughout the stay. Definietly a thumbs up place to stay!!! »

« I loved my stay at the Springhouse, originally built in 1803! It’s in a fantastic location, with a park-like yard that feels peaceful and inviting. The outdoor space is a highlight plenty of seating, picnic tables, flowerbeds in bloom, and of course the spring itself, which adds so much charm.Inside, the house is cozy and nostalgic, full of character. The kitchen is well-equipped with a stove and full-size refrigerator, making it easy to cook meals during my stay. The water is wonderfully soft ...

« It was the most stunning surprise as we walked into this richly decorated, most beautiful home. Check in and communication with the host ensured ease of the process. We took full advantage of the fully equiped home and and kitchen and never left after our arrival as we ate meals in the garden and dinner in the dining room. The beds are so comfortable and the sheets were top quality. We enjoyed the weekend so much we are booking for next year. »

« The farmhouse was as described: Very clean, had everything you needed. Bed was very comfortable. Nice & relaxing after spending the days in Gettysburg. Beautiful area & only 30 minutes from Gettysburg & the battlefield. The stairs are a bit steep but no problem if you take your time & go slow. I’m 76 & had no issues with the stairs. »

« So many special luxuries- my favorite might have been the towel warming rack in the master bedroom. But more than I can name… a coffee bar, deck places to sit and enjoy, beautiful deer family each night, a great kitchen with good knives!very thoughtful touches »

« The house was a perfect place to stay while we were in town for a nearby wedding. Plenty of space for 6 of us, two couples in two of the beds, and two people in each of the other two beds. The house was clean and charming. Linda was very communicative throughout the stay. »

« The Happy Hen was the perfect spot for my wife and I and our two children, aged 10 and 6. Minutes away from the battlefield, with a very convenient Dollar General just down the road, the HH was cozy and delightful. We intend to stay again in the future. »
