The AC unit in the room is extremely loud. It literally sounds like a lawn mower. The fan in the room does help.

Le petit déjeuner continental était inclus. C'était super, en comparaison avec d'autres hôtels offrant le petit déjeuner malgré la COVID, il y avait beaucoup de choix. Le seul côté plus négatif avec cet établissement est qu'il a un vieux style : tapis dans les couloirs et dans la chambre, couleurs et décoration.

Port Augusta Inn is much more beautiful than the photos in google. Rooms are clean, beds are big and very comfortable. Small breakfast area was also clean and had good options for a continental breakfast. Having a free breakfast is not something we see nowadays. It was a good suprise. Staff is great. Very friendly and very professional. I definitely recommend staying there. 5 out of 5 !

The room that I was given was not the room I booked and I paid extra for the better room which was supposed to be on the first floor but I had to walk up stairs carrying all my luggage. I was not offered anything for my inconvenience.

Our checkin was good! We were in a top floor room in what seemed to be a renovated room and it was good with the exception of a not very clean toilet and only 1 coffee pack for 2 of us! Other than those things it was okay and met our needs for catching the first ferry out of Comox!

Beautiful location in central Comox but unfortunately the room was not up to par. The carpet had not been properly vacuumed, crumbs in the creases of the chairs and dirt smudges on the walls even in the bathroom?!? Beds were uncomfortable and need replacing. Noisy neighbours sitting outside having a loud conversation passed 11pm.

I liked the room I was assigned on the second floor with a balcony. It was clean and comfortable, very good for the price. Although the weather was less than ideal, I could imagine sitting out on the balcony on a warm day enjoying the quiet and the view.

On the bus route, walkable to resteraunts and close to airport were reasons to choose. Not clean. I mean, I had to wipe down the toilet seat with the makeoff wipe provided to remove brown streaks. One coffee pouch provided, thanks but would prefer two.

The Inn was ok. It was pretty much as I predicted for the area and price. The staff were lovely and very friendly. The only issues were the room smelled like old furniture and some chemical cleaner type smell. After opening the deck door for an hour it was better. We found old toothpaste wiped but not cleaned off the bathroom counter. There was an old chip bag shoved behind the bedside table but totally visible from the side. There was thick dust under the headboard but very visible if you took the pillow away. The tv worked great. The beds were comfortable and clean....I checked lol. The fridge worked fine. There was a great German restaurant just down the road 2 min walk. The Inn provided a "continental" breakfast. Alphabet or cheerio cereal, white cheap bread with peanut butter and jam options, cheese slices, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, costco muffins and bananas. The coffee was decent and there was a small selection of teas. It was a bit rough but the guy serving was friendly and attentive to the food and area.
