Very uncomfortable fold-up - the only bed in the room. Very noisy. It was hard to get additional supplies such as towels.No coffee.

It took 3 times to finally get us into a room that was unoccupied. I’m not sure if the guy at the front desk was incompetent or if their inventory system doesn’t work but we were sent to two different rooms that were occupied and finally on the third try we got a room that was empty. We have stayed at the urban many times and never had an issue. But this time was different.

We apologize for the inconvenience that this waiting period may have caused. Dealing with a cloud-based service, we may sometimes experience technical issues. After midnight arrivals, due to server maintenance, may run into small service hiccups. Though we strive for immediate service, we are happy our associate solved any issues within a half-hour. Hi. We loved the Urban. It was quaint, clean, close to campus, had all of the amenities (gym, coffee, hot tub, courtyard, and fun old Buckeye photos/artwork.) thank you! We will definitely be back!

Construction around the property but walking. Distance and surprisingly very very clean. Room is v small but good for price and if just there for sleeping. Interesting setup with social areas

Check in simple and straight forward. Room as described. Noisy late night music from neighbors at 2 am and early construction were main complaints. No remote for TV but never needed it. Room had all things necessary for quick stay. Comfortable bed. Quick walk to High street. Would stay here again if needed quick close clean hotel near OSU.

Conveniently located near campus and High Street, this property was clean and modern. The rooftop deck is great with a gas fire table. The rooms are small but we were there to sleep so it was perfect for us.

We loved the Urban! From the check-in process with a great staff, free ice cream, clean room, and lots of amenities, it was the perfect place for us to meet up with family. It was so close to the university and so many restaurants and activities. We definitely recommend it!

Staff was nice. Construction next to the property made it hectic. The room was TINY and I think that should be noted. I mean TINY. Parking is kind of a mess. There are collage students in the residential part of the building so it was quite noisy. Would be ok for 1 person- we were cramped w/ 2 people.

Clean well-kept option within walking distance of the sports stadiums and High Street. The building has it's own parking garage a major plus on a college campus. Rooms are small but roomy common area and rooftop leisure area are nice.

Prime location, lots of storage, very clean
I don’t think the listing is as up front about the size or style of this place. There are regular tenants, and then there are hotel guests. That doesn’t bother me, but because of this, we got a room on the highest floor, and parking on the lowest level. Balcony views are currently obscured due to construction directly across the street. Rooms are incredibly small, with Murphy beds, and sinks in the main area rather than the bathroom. However, there was lots of storage, and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed NYE and were within walking distance to Cazuela’s, some excellent Mexican food. We returned from festivities around 1:30 am. About four rooms in our hall had doors constantly opening and slamming shut, with college kids kicking and punching the doors, shouting, and running up and down the hall. I called the front desk, and the man working was very receptive and had told me he had just come up to speak with them due to another complaint, and was giving them a few minutes to see if it will settle before taking more formal action. Very thankful for the attentiveness. Due to the proximity of the hotel to campus and the bar scene, I’m sure that’s more their age and interests of guests. Would stay again, but probably not on a major drinking holiday.

I appreciated the dorm-like qualities of the property and found it to be clean and well kept. Maybe I am too old to fully appreciate it but it was defintely okay.

Great location, close to the shoe and other university locations and restaurants. Rooms are small but cute and clean. Friendly helpful staff. My only complaint is the bed is SUPER uncomfortable! Otherwise top notch place to stay!

My wife and I loved staying at The Urban for a weekend while visiting our daughter at OSU. The best thing for us was the proximity to campus. We didn't have to move the car once until Sunday for some shopping further out. We walked to her dorm, High Street, Schottenstein Arena, and around campus. What we didn't expect was how lovely The Urban was. It is very clean, well-appointed, and decorated. They went the extra mile with decorating. with creating painting, appointments, and enlarged photos of university days past printed on canvas. The rooms are small, but added to the feel of "being on campus," and had everything we needed and then some. The underground parking was convenient and safe. If you are uber-sensitive to noise, The Urban may not be for you, as ruckus can be heard from the hallway and other rooms. We loved all of it and will stay here again.
