A Great Stay

The property was spotless. It was the perfect location. The home is in a quiet neighborhood with a gated yard and access to the garage. The home was a larger size than I expected. The back porch is also screened in for mornings in the shade on the back porch. The check in and check out process was seamless.

Found our new spot in Columbus, GA!

My family lives in Phenix City, AL, and every year I travel to see them during Spring Break. While I was sad that the house we stayed at last year was not available, I was very happy to find the Ft Moore Retreat! The house is in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood, and we all felt safe during our stay. The location worked well for us. The house appeared to be undergoing some minor renovations, but nothing was in our way, and I look forward to the updates/upgrades in the future. The kitchen was beautiful, with new appliances, and the dining room was spacious. We appreciated the access to a washer and dryer, both worked well. My kids and nephew loved the little game room, and I loved that it was far enough away from my room so I could get some sleep! The beds were VERY comfortable, to the point we had a hard time waking up most mornings. We had a small concern during our stay, but the owner was very fast in replying and I was satisfied with the response. Before I conclude this long novella of a review, I want to shout out the excellent attention to detail for comfort and convenience! I have stayed in many rental homes, and I have always had to buy or bring home goods such as soap, trash bags, etc. I was elated to find little comforts of home after a 12 hour drive. From the coffee to the dish/washing machine/soaps in the bathroom to the PS5, I really appreciated those touches, and I look forward to booking every time we come down! Thanks! Dr. M and Fam

Short Stay

Booked this home for a one night stay for my family. The home was CLEAN and everything we needed for our short stay. My boys enjoyed the PlayStation in the small game room.

Great rental

Extremely clean and well stocked. Plenty of linens, pods for laundry, Keurig and dishwasher. We had to pick up garbage bags, toilet paper and paper towels but that is no big deal. Beds were very comfortable. Lay out of home is great for families. Property manager responded quickly and was very accommodating . ONLY complaint would be the couch makes a sound like it may break when you sit on it- but it was clean and comfortable. We had to do zero prep to leave, all handled by cleaning staff. Will rent again.

Turning Blue Trip

We were in town for our son’s Turning Blue/Graduation. The home was beautiful and clean. Plenty of room for us, beds were comfortable, the PS was a bonus! The neighborhood was quiet. Overall great experience!

A must stay!

The property was clean, welcoming, and had all the necessities you need while traveling. The hosts were responsive and VERY helpful with anything we needed/had questions about. The commute to Fort Moore was short, and easy to navigate. The neighborhood is also very quiet. The fenced in back yard was a perfect place to let the kiddos run around safely. If we were to return to Columbus, we would stay here again!

Great overall experience

We were very much pleased with this experience. The house was exceptionally neat and clean inside and out, almost everything in it was new or had been recently redone and felt fresh. The house was well provisioned and tastefully appointed. It is obvious that the owners are regularly staying on top of things. The location was close to Fort Moore and close to everything else a week in a strange town would require. The neighborhood felt safe, people in town were friendly, and we liked the feel of Columbus. When part of our family unexpectedly made it in to town early, they were happy to work with us. Well recommended based on our experience and observations. Thanks for doing things a step above the rest.
