« McNifftyville was an awesome home for our short stay in Salida. The rooms were all inviting, creatively decorated, and comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful and so well stocked. The icing on the cake was the beautiful backyard where we relaxed on the large covered patio in the certified wildlife habitat and got to see so many species of birds. If we ever need a place to stay in Salida again, we will certainly return to McNifftyville. »

« We will definitely be back. Kales cottage is perfect for a couple or single with or without a pet. The yard is big with multiple places to relax. It’s very private. There is a hiking trail a block away. The kitchen is wonderfully complete. »

« Property was amazing- it was even better than the pictures. House is on the outskirts of Salida (but quick 10 min drive into town), and offers privacy and beautiful mountain views. It comes equipped with everything you need to enjoy the stay, and clear instruction on how to work everything in the house. Highlights were the amazing deck and hot tub. « This is lovely older home with an amazing deck and hot tub on the river. The beds were super comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay. It was the perfect location for hiking, biking and kayaking. We hiked to Agnes Vaille falls and went to the St. Elmo ghost town. We mountain biked from downtown Buena Vista and hiked along the river.
