« The views were amazing and the house was great size for our family of 12. Having multiple bedrooms all with an attached bathroom. There were many concerns however. The host response was delayed; sometimes up to 3 days. The water took some time to warm up and sometimes the water shut off completely. The water flow in the kitchen was terrible making it difficult to wash anything. Th amount of cooking utensils was limited. There was only one working knife. « Unfortunately the location showed the apartment was located at Playa Bonita but it is actually located in Chumical which is 20km away. We were advised by friends who reside in Playa Bonita, whom we wanted to stay close to, that taxis/Uber’s dont go to Chumical and the area is for “adventurous” travelers so we forfeited our non-refundable booking. The host offered a different date but this didn’t resolve the above concerns. »

« This place is special. The inside of the house could use a deep cleaning. But the outdoor area and beach area are incredible. We explored tide pools and snorkeled open areas and crevices all week long. Our one negative experience was fishing with some young men from the nearby town; they did not have fishing gear, made us pay for their oil and gas, made fun of us in Spanish, and didn't actually care about catching fish. We didn't catch any fish and did not feel safe. Rodrigo is a wonderful host...
