« We had a great stay. The host was very nice. The area was nice and close to DC and shopping area. One thing I don’t like is that there is no TV in the house. No TV in living room or anywhere. We might stay again. »

« We stayed at this home Christmas week. It proved the perfect base for family aged 87 to 16. There was room enough for everyone to spread out. Commuications were excellent and host was very responsive. Our goal was to be able to have both traditional holiday dinners and gatherings and the adventure of exploring monuments and museums.The set up would also be convenient for families with younger children. If you want plush spa towels and fine linens - like you might expect at a hotel - bring them....

« Hosts were very communicative and helpful! We could not have asked for more perfect hosts. Check in and out were very easy. Beds were all very comfortable. Everything was well-stocked. TV and Internet were great. Plenty of dishes and coffee. Rooms were tastefully decorated but toddler friendly. Location and neighborhood were great, free and easy parking. Our kiddo wants us to buy the place! We hope to stay again. We did not do the wine experience. »

« The home was very clean and comfortable. The coffee bar was great! Groceries, restaurants and the Metro train all within a 20 min walk! And the owner was very available to us via text. We loved our visit! We would have appreciated a heads up to the no shoe rule more than 24 hours in advance as we drove and were already on the road, so we didn't have the opportunity to pack slippers. Also, the neighbors will call you out if the TV is too loud at 10:01pm, so be prepared. Other than those...

« This was the perfect location and size for our family of 4 to use as a base camp to explore greater DC. The walk to King Street or the Waterfront was 10-15 minutes or less. The Metro station was 10 minutes or less. There was a Trader Joe’s about 2 blocks away. Loved the location and the neighborhood vibe. Look forward to visiting again. »

« This was a wonderful property with easy access to everything we wanted in DC. Nice and clean with enough space for my family. Access to public transportation was easy with multiple nearby stops on various routes around the city. The neighborhood was beautiful and we felt safe walking around and waiting for buses. Overall this was a great place to stay for a family trip to DC. »

« Perfect place to stay when visiting DC. We were about 20 minutes from downtown but felt like we were at a retreat when we were at the house. Loved sitting by the fire outside and listening/watching the wildlife. Saw all kind of birds & a buck and doe were grazing every morning. House had plenty of room for all of us. Grocery & restaurants nearby, we cooked most of our dinners at the house and had everything we needed. Cam is an excellent host and was available whenever we had any questions. »
