Cocoa Village Hideaway - 1 Bedroom/1 Bath Walk to Riverfront and Restaurants

About this space
This fun apartment is close to everything, making it easy to plan your stay. We are located within walking distance to tons of Cocoa Village restaurants and shops, a 10-15 minute drive from Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach, and a 35-40 minute drive to MCO. Enjoy the quiet backyard patio where a BBQ grill and firepit are available for your use. Day trips to Orlando are easy from here. Your hosts live next door and are happy to help, or stay out of your way depending on your needs and wants.
The space
This private 500 sq. ft. suite features a dedicated parking spot and private entrance. Inside the unit there is one bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, full bathroom, kitchenette with cooktop, microwave and full refridgerator/freezer, washer/ dryer, dedicated AC unit, ceiling fan, living room, and island with seating for two. There is high-speed wifi internet and a desk in the common space of the apartment. The entrance to your unit is on the back of the house so there is a short, well-lit walk from the driveway to your main entrance. The outdoor space is shared with your hosts. We are here if you need anything, but we will respect your privacy. This is perfect for a single person or a couple for a short getaway or long-term stay.
Guest access
Shared space on the property is the backyard patio which includes the BBQ grill, seating area, and fire pit. (You will have private use of these, but you may see us pop out of the main house to access the shed or care for the yard/garden. We will minimize this as much as possible during your stay.)
Other things to note
The unit has a tall ceiling, but the walkway has a low area (gutter) and the bedroom has an archway entrance. Guests over 6' tall may need to watch their head in certain areas.

We are new to this platform, but we are not new to hosting with this unit. We look forward to hosting you!

The property was large and clean with a lovely outside seating area with bbq and fire pit. It was well lit at night with fairy lights. The side path to the door from the car parking space at the front of the house was also well lit and felt extremely safe. The bedroom was bright and airy with plenty of space and drawers for hanging clothes. The open plan kitchen/lounge was nicely furnished and had everything we needed for our 17 day stay. The bathroom was large and the shower was excellent. It also had a washer/drier which came in handy. The air conditioning kept everywhere cool, even for us brits visiting from the UK. The owners are excellent. There if you need them but not if you don’t. They even bought a kettle so my husband could have his English tea in the morning and a little welcome pack of essentials as we were unsure of our arrival time. Any questions I emailed both before our visit and during, were answered very quickly and very helpful. It’s easy to walk into loverly Cocoa village with access to all the amenities there. This was our first vrbm experience and I will definitely be using them again. If we come back to Cocoa village we would definitely stay here again as it was such a good experience with wonderful hosts

Perfect Getaway

Place was cute and efficient. Very roomy for a 1 bedroom space. Washer, dryer, shower, full kitchen, separated bedroom with a door, and outdoor space to enjoy the evenings. Property Manager was very communicative over the app and respected privacy during the stay even with the space connected to their personal residence. I appreciated them being discreet. We never saw the hosts. Overall, good stay for a quick weekend getaway.

Clean, excellent communication, and hassle free. Stayed a week while my daughter was playing college ball, Worked out great. The only con being that if you plan to cook the kitchen may not meet your needs.

This is an older property in an older neighborhood. The upgrades to the suite are great. New furniture and mattress. Very clean and comfortable. I would come back again if I am in the area. Multiple messages from the host to make sure that everything was good.

Perfect Cocoa getaway

We could not have asked for a more perfect hostess than Keleigh. We had a couple of unexpected needs while we were there and she was immediately resonsive and caring. Her rental is cozy and comfortable and near eveything without being too busy. We recommend this listing and this hostess highly!

I just loved staying here. The apartment was perfect with everything I needed for my three night stay. The owners thought of everything! Instructions for the use of the A/C, TV, even the filtered water! They are very thoughtful to their guests needs. The apartment was truly up to date with all modern appliances and even a washer and dryer. It’s a perfect location as well. The riverfront and shops and restaurants are all walking distance. The hosts of the apartment were so very friendly and accommodating. I can’t wait to go back.

Hearted this Hideaway ❀

This one bed, bath hideaway was a gem of a find and one of our favorites thus far! It was just as pictured and was equipped with high quality furnishings and the space felt roomy and comfortable and very clean.Private Parking was conveniently located directly in front and the property. The property is ideally located on a quiet street within walking distance to the water front and Cocoa Village where you will find dining, shopping and entertainment. The owners went the extra mile by providing filtered water, ice and coffee for our stay.We totally enjoyed our stay and are already planning our next visit.

Fantastic Place to stay!

This place was perfect for my husband and I. We were in town for a wedding at the marina just around the corner from this place. We could walk to Cocoa Village. We found some great places nearby. The apartment was clean, comfortable and convenient. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. The host was fantastic and provided us with information during the stay. We would rent this place again for sure.

Great stay at The Hideaway!

Kelly and Micah are wonderful hosts! They are kind, prompt and helped us with every aspect of our stay. The accommodations are clean, well designed, roomy and includes a private patio. Excellent Wi-Fi connectivity and speed along with a large flat screen TV made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable! The neighborhood was quiet and just a five-minute walk to Cocoa Village. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay with Kelly and Micah again, Thank you for everything!!

Stunning Hideaway Sanctuary

If I could give this property MORE stars, I totally would! Easy to get to, budget-friendly, and most importantly the environment of the home was absolutely superb! (Pics don’t do it justice) I had total privacy, but still had phenomenal communication from the host. Not only was the host thorough through our messages, they left an awesome and easy pamphlet that had a welcoming/get to know me page, answers to questions I didn’t even know I had, and local knowledge, that is always so charming from hosts. The amenities and cleanliness offered was top notch, at a very cost effective rate. As a woman having my first ever solo trip, I felt extremely safe, respected, and cared for at this property. I absolutely want to return here, and I will tell my friends as well!
