« Great location between Clitheroe and great walks. Super pubs within 5 to 10 miles. Cottage roomy, beautifully warm with super wood burning stove. Beds comfy and kitchen well equipped . Owner very welcoming and quick to respond to any issues. Furnishings a bit tired and a stale smell of dogs, especially in the main bedroom. »

« Absolutely perfect! Stayed here with my brothers for a birthday gathering and family get together. The rooms are lovely with everything you need, staff are friendly and helpful, food (breakfasts and evening meals) plentiful and tasty. Great value! »

« Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here. »

« No contact at arrival time from host. We had to phone to get entry details. Also cleaning could be improved. Kitchen in particular was mucky. »

« This was our first visit to the Forest of Bowland area and it was definitely worth it. The Old Dairy is set next to a meadowvwith trees in the distance and the farm next to it. The owners are to be congratulated on their attention to the little things that are so handy. Superb beds made for a wonderful night sleep. A fan was available for those hot, sticky days and nights.
