Disgusting House with Mold and Bugs
Awful experience with this property. We check in to find the kitchen/family room ceiling littered with hundreds of gnat flies. Pot lights are covered with cob webs, broken wall fixtures, cracked mirrored walls in the hall and a bedroom. Upstairs consists of the landing and bedroom ceiling littered with gnat flies that end up in your bed by the morning. Water stains in the ceiling with surrounding black mold. Window sills covered with spores and more mold. The carpet upstairs is filthy with multiple stains. We expressed our concerns with the host regarding bugs and mold and they said they would get a maintenance team to look into it. They were very concerned to hear about the mold, but did nothing to fix it. We never heard back and followed up, they said they would send a team after our stay hoping this would help our stay. It does nothing for us if this is resolved once we left. The host blamed us that we left windows and doors open which resulted in the bugs coming into the house. We explained we never left anything open and walked into this disaster.The last day we woke up with little mites and more gnats in our bed sheets upstairs. This house is old, not maintained, littered with insects and black mold. The host was useless in resolving any of our concerns throughout our way and blamed us for the bug infestation⊠yet they keep a can of bug spray in the kitchen cabinet.STAY AWAY.
